The Warren Central Dragons and Franklin-Simpson Lady Cats continue to lead the way as unanimous No. 1s in the latest Daily News Area Top 10 polls.

Warren Central survived a double-overtime scare at South Warren to improve to 15-2 on the season, while Franklin-Simpson improved to 16-2, 7-0 against Region 4 opponents, with two region wins this week.

Bowling Green remains second behind the Dragons in the boys’ poll. Clinton County holds at third after suffering its first loss of the season in the All ‘A’ Tournament. South Warren moves up a spot to fourth, with Butler County climbing a spot to fifth.

Greenwood, Barren County, Warren East, Russell County and Cumberland County round out the boys’ poll.

On the girls’ side, Barren County holds in second behind the Lady Cats. Metcalfe County remains third, with Warren East fourth and Bowling Green fifth.

Cumberland County, Monroe County, Allen County-Scottsville, Logan County and Todd County Central round out the girls’ poll.
