The Far Off Broadway Players will hold open auditions for “A Christmas Story” beginning Aug. 24.

Auditions for the main roles of Ralphie Parker and Ralph Parker will be take place from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 24 at the Far Off Broadway Players rehearsal studio.

Those who audition for Ralphie, the hero of the story, must be 9-14 years of age, and those who audition for Ralph, the adult version of Ralphie and the narrator of the story, must be 40 or older.

General auditions for additional parts will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 20 and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 21.
