BG’s Jaglan finishes in 3-way tie at Kentucky Open Championship

Bowling Green’s Shubham Jaglan finished in a three-way tie for second place following Thursday’s round of the 105th Kentucky Open Championship at the University of Louisville Golf Club.

Jaglan fired a final-round 67 to finish the tournament at 15-under par 201. Jaglan shared the title of low amateur at this year’s tournament with Jay Kirchdorfer and Joshua Rhodes after all three carded identical 201s for the three-round tournament.

Louisville’s Ashton Van Horne carded a final-round 63 to rally for three-stroke victory, finishing at 18-under 198.

Scottsville’s Owen Stamper finished fifth overall after shooting a final-round 66. Stamper was 14-under 202 for the tournament.

Former Western Kentucky standout Billy Tom Sargent tied for 10th in the tournament, finishing with a 10-under 206 after shooting 68 in Thursday’s final round.
