Noel Eugene Carter, 51, of Alvaton died Oct. 2, 1999, at his home.The Warren County native was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran, a self-employed machinist and a member of Plano Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a son of Evans Carter and Muriel Boston Carter of Alvaton, who survive.Memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Home, Lovers Lane chapel. The body was cremated. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Survivors include two sisters, Yvonne Perry of Bowling Green and Shirley Key of Alvaton; a brother, Bruce Carter of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
