Two people were killed and two others are in the hospital after a two-vehicle collision happened Friday evening in the 8800 block of Ky-185 in Warren County.
Pamela Hayes, 62, and Ronald Hayes, 60, both of Caneyville, were traveling south in a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt on 185 when Pamela Hayes lost control and collided with a 2018 Toyota 4Runner traveling north and being driven by Elizabeth Kemp, 36, of Bowling Green, according to Post 3 of the Kentucky State Police.
Pamela Hayes and Ronald Hayes were both pronounced dead on the scene by the Warren County Coroner. Kemp and a child in the car were transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green with non-life threatening injuries, KSP stated.
The name of the child was not released. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office contacted KSP at 6 p.m., and KSP Trooper Grant Robertson is leading an investigation into the accident. KSP was assisted at the scene by the coroner’s office along with Warren County EMS and other KSP personnel.
