County closes recovery center

The Bowling Green — Warren County Community Recovery Center ceased operations on Monday at 3 p.m., due to what the county said was a lack of registrations from flooding-impacted citizens.

The CRC opened April 5 and provided resources from local aid groups HOTEL INC, RefugeBG and the Housing Authority of Bowling Green after a multi-day stretch of storms dropped over 10 inches of rain on Warren County, leading to flooding, road closures and property damage across the county.

Aid was available to “flood victims who reside in Warren County,” county government previously stated.
