Bowling Green junior Logan Johnson drove in a pair of runs to lift the host Purples to a 4-2 baseball win against Owensboro Catholic on Wednesday.

Drew Isenberg and Harrison Yates each added an RBI for BG, which scored four runs off four hits.

Jackson Idlett earned the win in relief, allowing one run off four hits and no walks while striking out two batters over three innings. Drew Isenberg earned the save after firing two scoreless innings, allowing no hits and three walks while fanning five.

Bowling Green (10-5) hosts Louisville Eastern on Saturday.
