Western Kentucky’s men’s golf team concluded its 2024-25 season on Wednesday with an eighth-place finish (8-over par 872) at the 2025 Conference USA Championships in Texarkana, Arkansas.

WKU totaled a 3-under 573 over the final 36 holes, which was sixth-best amongst the nine-team field.

Individually, WKU’s Nic Hofman finished tied for ninth with a 2-under 214. Riley Grindstaff, who played the last two rounds as a substitute, was also 2-under over the final 36 holes.

Hofman played the par 3s even on the week, tied for third best in the field. He was also 6-under on the par 5s, tied for fourth-best. Hofman had an eagle on the par-5 12th hole on Wednesday.

Grindstaff played the par 4s at 3-under, tied for fourth-best in the field.

Hayden Warren played the par 5s at 5-under, top 10 in the field.

WKU finished tied with Liberty, UTEP and Sam Houston for the tournament lead with 169 pars on the week. Each of those three teams advanced to Thursday’s match play.
