MUNFORDVILLE Lola C. Steele, 73, of Oxford, Fla., formerly of Munfordville, died at 3:30 a.m. EST Jan. 16, 2001, at Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, Fla.The Hart County native was a daughter of the late Silas B. Crain and Perlie Philpott Crain and wife of the late Alvin Steele.Funeral will be at 2 p.m. CST Saturday at Sego Funeral Home with burial in Munfordville Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday and at 8 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Survivors include three sons, Leroy Steele of Alabama, David Steele of Colorado and Silas Steele of Florida; a brother, Emmet Crain of Horse Cave; two sisters, Pauline Gaskin of Louisville and Louise Hardy of Cave City; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
